Niger Extends Request for Qualification Deadline to January 10, 2022

Niger has extended to January 10, 2022 the deadline for the submission of a Request for Qualification (RFQ) for the design, financing, construction, and operation of a grid-connected solar PV plant with a capacity of approximately 50 MWac, to be developed under the World Bank Group’s Scaling Solar program. The plant will be located in Gorou Banda, on the outskirts of the capital city of Niamey.

All interested parties should register with Ministry of Petroleum, Energy and Renewable Energy and purchase the RFQ document. For complete details, including the application process and fees, please find the RFQ notice (in French) here.
